OUR MIDSOMMAR MUSE

Midsommar beauty isn’t about doing too much. It’s about looking how you feel: soft, light, radiant.

  • Glowing skin (but never heavy)
  • Cream blush that mimics the flush of sun and strawberries
  • A hint of lip color, like you just kissed a berry
  • Lashes, brows, and a touch of liner for quiet definition

It’s makeup that looks like you—but with more light.

WHAT SHE'S WEARING

Her makeup bag for Midsommar isn’t full—it’s thoughtful. Every product in it earns its place by enhancing what’s already there: light on skin, warmth in the cheeks, softness in the eyes.

For dewy skin: tinted moisturizer topped with with face oil for a hydrating glow that lets freckles show.

For flushed cheeks: cream blush gives that just-back-from-the-sun warmth.

For light-catching eyes: a pearly shadow or nude-toned cream reflects the daylight in all the right ways.

For a soft, warm glow: multipurpose products like our contour or smart wheels add color and subtle sheen.

For a bare-but-there lip: a berry-kissed stain comes from cream lipstick and a soft pencil—natural, but defined.

For subtle definition: a sweep of mascara, brow shadowl, and clear fix keeps everything framed, but still effortless.

It’s not about doing more. It’s about wearing natural ease—on your face and in your mood.

A SWEDISH STATE OF MIND

At FACE Stockholm, we’re proud of our Swedish roots—and Midsommar is one of the most meaningful holidays of the year.

It’s not just a day on the calendar. It’s a return to the light.

After months of darkness, Midsommar is a collective pause. A chance to step outside, gather with people we love, and feel the rhythm of the season. It’s a time for joy, for slowness, for putting your feet in the grass and your phone away.

This shoot was created to honor that feeling. A kind of beauty that doesn’t need to be explained—only felt. And while you don’t have to be in Sweden to celebrate Midsommar, we hope this brings a bit of it to you: the simplicity, the connection, the presence.

Whether you're dancing around a maypole or just stepping outside, we hope you find a little of that light this season.
